Kaleo Sermon Notes from Sept. 14, Day 4- No Perfect People Allowed, "On the Outside Looking In"

[Mar 10:52 ESV] 52 And Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

Over and over again in Scripture we see the power of faith to move the Lord to action. Does Jesus observe much faith when He looks at you with all of His perfect wisdom and knowledge? He knows the real you and your level of trust. Kind of scary, right??? Overcome your doubts and believe to receive His miracles and power.

Also, don't think the short term solution is the answer, follow Jesus along the way of your life for the long haul. Notice that Bartimaeus did not go his own way like Jesus allowed him to do. Instead, even after receiving his sight, he desired to follow the Christ on His way. This is a great example for us to observe and obey.

*Life Point* Don't just be satisfied with answered prayers as you go your way, follow whole-heartedly in faith the One who is the provider of every good and perfect gift and go His way (James 1:17)
