Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up and bless her…
-A mom has to take care of the home in a proper manner
for her children to one day, when they are older, rise up and bless her with
their compliments and gratitude, among other things. How does this happen? Of
course there is some natural love and devotion that is warranted because of the
necessity of care and duty. But a woman of God who receives true praise and
blessing has made her children a priority to nurture and care for them in a way
that produces a higher level of respect and honor. This only comes from a true
fear of the Lord and obedience to His commands in the training up of the
children. Motherhood is always a challenge, but the mommies who do it well will
be rewarded by her children and the Lord! This is a general truth.
