[Matthew 22:3 ESV] 3 and (the king in the parable, God in the spiritual sense) sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
The invitation of God is clear in Scripture:
[1Ti 2:3-4 ESV] 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[John 3:16 ESV] 16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Notice here in the Matthew 22:3 text, the sending agent. The sending agents are His servants, that's you and me who are already in the family of God. We are to live "sent" lives in pursuit of calling people to the wedding feast of the Kingdom of God. Is it your responsibility to save people? Of course not! Perceive from the Scripture here that many "would not come." Our job is to basically present the facts about the love of God and let His Spirit do the convicting and convincing. We are simply bearers of the "good news" of salvation. God is the One who does the saving. That takes the pressure off of us and should give us more courage to "invest" and "invite" our neighbors to Christ and His Kingdom!
*Life Point* We who have believed in Christ Jesus are sent servants proclaiming His good news.
