Psalm 117
-Theme: God is
the King of the whole world, which He loves. His truth is everlasting.
-Historical Insight: This anonymous Psalm of praise is the
shortest in Scripture lasting only two verses.
-*Application* The LORD is God over and above every nation.
He sets up rulers and expects praise from all the people groups of the world.
Why? Because His lovingkindness is great towards us all, and His truth is
everlasting. He deserves everyone’s praise. Meditate on His agape and veracity
at length today and forevermore.
