Isaiah 12
-The thanksgiving of God’s great
work, which will happen “on that day” and “in that day”, is expressed in this
brief and beneficial chapter of biblical prophecy. Notice that the LORD’s anger
is turned away from His people of faith at this time. Notice that His comfort
is tangible in the expression of raw and jubilant emotion with singing and
praise. Notice that God is the source of salvation and that it is by trusting
in Him without fear. Notice that His great Name is to be made known, along with
His deeds, among all the peoples (ethnic groups, nations). This is the
missionary effort, which is so vital to propagating His truth. This short
little passage has it all! *Application* Our salvation through Jesus Christ is
the means to all joy, hope, singing, and praise unto our good and great
Heavenly Father. Express yourself to a world that is lost and dying, afraid of
the future, and without a hope or destiny. You have the answer. Believe in the
God that will turn away from His wrath against sin and save those who humbly
come to Him in repentance. He is great in our midst. OOOOOO Praise the LORD!!!!
